Greenock is a town situated in the south west of Scotland. It is a located on the south bank of the River Clyde and has a population of just under fifty thousand residents. The town dates back more than five hundred years when it was established as a fishing village. It wasn't until the 19th century and the Industrial Revolution that the town really rose to prosperity as a centre of industry and trade.
